In other "random news",the new face of a Tesco ad (british super-market chain) has been outed as an illegal immigrant.Apparently 32 year old Fatou Cham from Gambia had applied for a visa extension after her student visa ran out in 2001 but wasnt granted one and stayed on.She worked at Tesco and entered in a competition for the new face of the brand.damn...i guess entering a modelling competition as an illegal immigrant isnt a great idea.and there you have it..ur randomness served up ...

So theres been the on-going discussion on why more and more African artists are using non-black girls in their videos .Dbanj is one of the artists whose new song "Kimon" had people talking.But another one who has people MAD as hell is Taio Cruz.Hes half brazillian and half Nigerian.He actually blatantly said,

"“I like to put girls in my video that I think are hot. If a really hot black girl came to a casting, she’d be in my video. I think that people even focusing on the race issue in my videos is a problem. And I would almost react by never putting black girls in my video, because I’m that type of person – rebellious. Its almost Holiday season and companies like Gap and Banana seem to like african models/singers these days.Ayo was the face of Banana for a while and now Alek Wek has taken over their holiday campaign.Estelle also has an ad for GAP.Peep the pics below.

Okay ,first things first.For everyone who was rooting for Solange and Wale to confirm their relationship status,ur not in luck.I posted a vid in my previous updates where the Nigerian singer said him and sol are "just friends".Now Solange agreed with Wale.

Baby News:Seal and Heidi welcome baby and Kenzo's day out

According to myfashionlife.com ,Nigerian singer Seal and his wifey Heidi Klum welcomed their new addition to the family.Its a baby girl whose name is Lou Sulola Samuel.She joins the couples 3 kids ,2 boys and a girl who is from Heidi's previous relationship .In a statement,Seal is quoted as saying about Lou,

"Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years.” *collective awww...

He also said ,"It’s difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children,” said Seal, Heidi’s husband, last night in a statement. “Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?”

Idris Elba's fine self hit up Russel Simmons argyle fashion show where he sat front seat.He was also at a pandora event in DC where he got flirty with the ladies.More news on him later.
Lola love hit the Bet awards .She prefers to be called "Lady Monore" now.Whatever.
Estelle was at Maxwell's concert after-party and also attended the "Keep A Child Alive" event of which Alicia Key's and Iman are ambassadors.
