A little History Lesson..(*from wiki i must add...)

The Republic of Cameroon (French: République du Cameroun) is a unitary republic of central and western Africa. It is bordered by Nigeria to the west; Chad to the northeast; the Central African Republic to the east; and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo to the south. Cameroon's coastline lies on the Bight of Bonny, part of the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean. The country is called "Africa in miniature" for its geological and cultural diversity. Natural features include beaches, deserts, mountains, rainforests, and savannas. The highest point is Mount Cameroon in the southwest, and the largest cities are Douala, Yaoundé, and Garoua. Cameroon is home to over 200 different ethnic and linguistic groups. The country is well known for its native styles of music, particularly makossa and bikutsi, and for its successful national football team. English and French are the official languages.

Ive always worked hard to achieve the many GOALS that I set for myself because I know my calling and I know where I want to be in life at a certain time and how Im gonna get there..its all planned..Ne way,Im happy to announce that I am now part of the MIMI magazine family...i discovered the mag in 2007 when I started this blog and have read every issue since as well as past issues..and now Im gonna be writing for it!!Im guest blogging for the magazines blog mimimagazine.blogspot.com first,then hopefully stepping into the mag.Stay tuned!!im so excited!!

Im also writing for AFRICA STYLE DAILY as well which is awesome!Im posting my first article asap and will let u knw when its done..and I was already invited to meet a writer Nana Ekua Brew-Hammond who just had her first book "The Powder Necklace" published.And its so crazy that I just ordered this book from amazon.com 2 weeks ago(still waiting for it to arrive though).I just feel like so many great things are happening to me..

Im still waiting to see if I will be writing for Orijin Mag so keep your fingers crossed.(*and toes..lol).

Lastly,my sister Muso and our cameroonian friend Tina are going to be shooting a documentary type reality thingy called "Back to Africa:the homecoming".We are all going to Africa (me and my sis are going to Zambia and South Africa and shes going to cameroon) and we are gonna take our cameras with us for the ride!so expect pics/videos etc...cant wait!

so there u have it..these are upcoming projects lined up and ofcourse being the workaholic that I am,I will definitely have some more stuff to share soon...

Its always interesting to stumble upon popular actresses/singers or entertainers in Hollywood and find out that they have African roots...

Katerina Graham plays the witch Bonnie on Vampire Diaries CW show (which I love..ive read the books too..lol).Shes 20 years old and is of Liberian and Russian descent(her father is Liberian -AMerican).

According to yayemarieba.blogspot.com, As a teenager she danced for Bow Wow, Missy Elliot,Pharell ect...She also appeared in several commercials for K Mart,Barbie, Pop Tart etc

Half African ,half French model Noemi Lenoir (one of her parents is from the Reunion islands) attempted suicide early this week .

Akon 's beef with Xtina/sues someone /fans go crazy

Akon seems to be in the news at least once a month .This time for saying that Christina Aguilera is swaggerjacking his signee Lady Gaga.He is quoted by a bunch of sites including theybf as saying,

"Honestly, Gaga and Christina could probably get together and do something that's amazing. But that's impossible if they are both trying to do the same exact thing musically.
(Aguilera is) not even any competition. You are actually giving Christina too much credit. She always had her cool little look and way about how she went about things.
