As you guys know,Fashion Week in NY has been going on and should just have concluded.Estelle attended a bunch of events from gucci events to actual fashion shows.She seems to have fired her stylist as she's dressing way better than ever...and she actually has a jewellery line with Rachel Ray coming out in the spring of 2010,and she designed a tank-top for H and M's fashion against AIDS.check her pics and for actual coverage of fashion week and the designs go to nam-afrique.blogspot.com and bellanaija.com .
I guess Akon remembered that the best girls reside in Africa and decided to shoot a video in South Africa while he was there recently.I dont know if this will be a track from his "Freedom "Album or from some new song.Ne way,peep the pics.
Speaking of women,in an interview with Arise Magazine ,Akon says that the craziest rumor he has ever heard about himself is that he has "7 wives".He never mentioned how many he does have . "..People believe it.Then everytime you see me I'm with a beautiful model.You want beautiful girls next to you because it brings money". He then went on to say that he plans to retire in 2015 . "Im going to be in Africa sipping pina coladas.A place in senegal and one in Capetown.Can you Imagine?"..(umm..*blank stare) Speaking about politics ,he says ,"I see myself attached to politics,but not fully fledged.Attached-and standing next to the Us president" Okay then...
Okay ,so maybe I'm thinking too far ahead in the future.But you never know these days.people date for three weeks and the next thing,they are walking down the aisle.Anyway,Nigerian-Dc based rapper wale was spotted enjoying a beautiful summer day in Central Park Ny(still need to go there) with Solange Knowles.They lounged on the grass and listened to music.Maybe they collaborating on a new album?cuz last I heard,Solange was dating some other person.Can u envison Wale as little Juelz new step-daddy?Time will tell.I will keep u posted!but we have pics nontheless.
In other Wale news,even though his performances during the VMA'S got him some nods,Wale may be delaying the release of his debut album. According to concrteteloop , "DC native Wale’s album is getting delayed, but with good reason.
His debut studio album, Attention: Deficit will now hit stores on November 3rd, but not due to label complications. Wale is will be hitting the road with none other than Jay-Z, on a tour of college campus arenas and traditional venues.
At this year’s VMA’s, fans were pleased to see that Wale performed in between performances and awards with the well-known DC go-go band, UCB. Joining him on the stage with the house band, also were Solange, Kid Cudi, Pitbull and a host of others. He is currently promoting his third single, featuring Jazmine Sullivan, “World Tour.”.
I wanted to introduce you guys to two amazing Namibian friends of mine who are about to take the fashion world and design and modelling world by storm.Literally.

Everyone's favorite video vixen ethiopian Angel Lola Love sat down for a video interview where she basically popped off on Karrine "superhead".The video vixen turned rapper (she is signed to 50 cents label)was quoted as saying ,
"The perceptions that people have of me and most video models are the total opposite of reality. They see things from the outside. So they have no idea about what goes on behind the scenes with the ones that do this to benefit themselves in a positive way".
"There are a lot of different reasons why I could never ride with the choices that ‘Superhead” made. I feel as though she played a major part in people really believing that all video vixens are just like her. Which is TOTALLY wrong!"

Nigerian us-based football player Wale Ogunyele has apparently left his long-time girlfriend sanaa Lathan for a "friend" that he has been seeing on the DL for 4 years.Her name is Stephanie and is a para-legal in Miami.According to a source ,Wale would meet up with his mistress everytime he was in Miami.They have been "seen" on vacations,including her bday party.Its pretty interesting seeing as she was named one of Ebony magzine's sexy singles of 2009 .Don't feel bad for Sanaa though.Apparently she's been hooking up with actor and singer Tyrese.
Apparently the prez of senegal has put Akon in his "black book" because the "Lonely" singer didn't show up at a meeting that the two had set up.The meeting was supposed to be a press conference where the two would discuss the third festival or world black arts that should be happening in senegal this year.Akon attended a meeting at the UN in Ny some months ago to discuss this concert with diplomats and ambassadors and this conference was supposed to be a way of letting the public know the details of the event.Not a good look Akon.If I was the president,I would tell him to refund me for the ticket (just saying). Oh and in an interview with Rap Up magazine ,Akon compared himself to the beatles.When asked how he is received whenever he arrives in Africa for performances, "It's like when the Beatles first came to the U.S times 10.Ridiculous"...yeah right Akon. Oh and he says he gets mistaken for Tyrese all the time.Yeah right.
